Jacob is by far one of my favorite photographers to shoot with. He has a welcoming and friendly personality where you don’t feel the least bit uncomfortable. It’s really comforting knowing I’m working with someone who provides a safe space for all genders, diversities and orientations. My first time shooting with him he offered to bring another cosplayer, and even took the steps to set everything up and was very transparent and caring of how safe I felt. Not only did I get some of THE BEST shots ever, I met another amazing cosplayer and photographer through the experience! Our second shoot resulted in some of the best photos I’ve seen…like ever. I’m not kidding. His eye for coloring and all the other magic skills that photographers have is seriously some of the best out there. Jacob was so much fun to work with! We had a unique experience (quick back story) since we chose to do our Halloween family photos as the Torrance family from “The Shining.” We wanted them up at Timberline Lodge to be as authentic as possible...not realizing it was going to be 15-20 MPH wind gusts! We have a 1.5 year old who hated the cold wind, but Jacob was so flexible and scouting out spots where wind may be less, etc. Even in the extremely quick moments our son was not crying, he snapped some phenomenal shots and we love them all. He offered to reschedule for more but we are more than satisfied with what we got. We will definitely book again with him in the future! Maybe just not on top of a mountain next time 😂
